hey, I'm Lindsay

I'm a writer from Las Vegas, NV.

writing is healing.

I write stories about healing, identity, grief, and joy.

I'm currently at work on my debut novel, which follows a young girl whose life unravels after the death of her grandfather in El Salvador.

My fiction explores the themes of belonging, love, complex family dynamics, and how we heal.

On Writing
I grew up spending long afternoons in the public library, reading anything I could get my hands on. Stories were my first way of understanding the world around me. I love how stories can take us to the unimaginable.

  • My work has appeared in Acentos Review, Khora, and Palabritas.
  • My writing has been supported by Hedgebrook, Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and SCBWI.
  • I'm a 2026 Periplus Fellow and hold an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco.

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.

a few of my favorite things

Nature Walks: Time with God in creation with peace and reflection.

Notebooks: Because inspiration comes in waves and I need a place to write it all down.

Traveling: Seeing a new place fills me with reverence.

Coffee: First sip of joy in the morning.

Bookstores: A place to get lost and roam freely in another world.
